On the Road

Today I started a little road trip with my honey. Here is the  Houston Ship Channel. Always as we go over this bridge I feel like putting my hands up and screaming as we descend, much like you do when riding a roller coaster. I’m just not a mountain driver. I know, I know a bridge is not a mountain but it feels that way to me. Give me a flat road…and I’m a very happy camper.

For once the traffic was also going so slow I was able to capture this picture. It also helps when you are not driving.πŸ˜†

Not too much further down the road is when the adventure really started….nothing like having a flat tire and changing it as the cars rush by on the Sam Houston Tollway. I wanted to yell “You idiots, can’t you see the hazard lights are blinking and we have a flat tire..move over.” Luckily, honey had the tire changed in about 20 minutes and we were on our way. Yippee back on our road trip but with no spare…πŸ˜•. Hopefully that can be remedied tomorrow.

By the way we bought another selfie stick for the road trip and practiced using it. I was told I was not allowed to use it because I broke the last one trying to hook my phone up.  After wrestling with honey I was able to use it.

Oops!!! I accidentally took this picture…

Here we are….just learned that honey wants to be on the road at 7:30am. So much for sleeping late on my day off so time for bed.
