A Great Saturday

I love the weekends that I do not have to work. I love sitting in the gazebo and drinking my morning coffee. This morning I noticed this little guy hard at work. The next few weekends will seem special since I’m expecting that the 2nd part of tax season will start up and I will be back working long hours and weekends.

Today I worked around the house cleaning and washing clothes and paying bills. And sometimes stopping to watch the Olympics.  I suppose I’m sort of strange because I find pleasure in cleaning up my stuff. I also like to run errands with Marc except when he has a fire call and drops me off in the turn lane on the road to our subdivision  so I can walk home.😩 Which happened today twice.

After lunch we went to the gym. I swam 22-23 laps. It irritates me that I lose track of how many I swim.

On the evening, we met Grandpa, Norma, Judy and Phil for supper. Nothing like ending the day with Mexican food from Gringos.  I’m so full I think I will spend the rest of the evening cheering on the Americans as I watch the Olympics. Overall it has been a great day!

  1. It sounds like you had a good day ! πŸ˜€ I went to Randi’s graduation this morning. She finally did it ! πŸŽ‰ She has already started applying for teachers positions. She really would like to get the one at Orange Grove school as a 2nd grade teacher. I hope it works out for her.
I worked in the yard this afternoon. I think I will follow your lead and watch some Olympics πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
