August 19 – Black & White
I love this black and white picture I took last week while visiting with my family. Today she moved into her housing to start her graduate studies at Pratt University.
August 18 – Jump
Every year I love to go to the firework show our town puts on for the 4th of July. One of my favorite things to see is the flyover and the presentation of the American and Texas flags.

This picture was taken in June 2014. It is from the balcony of our hotel in Brooklyn, NYC. We took a trip to look over the campus of Pratt University. Em leaves Monday for Pratt. I’m happy for her but sad for me…I will miss hugging and seeing her in person….that is until she comes home for a visit.
